Color, Caste, Language, Gender based differences will be challenged. Young Minds will be empowered to believe in magic, the magic of art. Beds will be laid to lay down and dream. Silk Route is for our little prince & princess to travel and explore the world.

Journal of Theatre

‘AADI [The Performer]’ is an online monthly Journal on Theatre in Tamil. To understand the needs of a community we need to listen to their voice and only by understanding their needs progressive actions can emerge. ‘AADI’ is a space to hear the voices of people whose livelihood is dependent on Theatre, to know about the people travelling closely with Theatre and to see the dreams of people waiting to follow Theatre.

Silk Route Charitable Trust’ was created to lay pathways for the knowledge to flow in the field of art in Tamil Nadu. While we are taking small steps to realize our dream, the need to establish a publishing house as part of ‘Silk Route’ has become so obvious. Language is the soul of a culture. The art forms of a particular culture are always entangled with its language. They nourish each other.
